CohnReznick forms Exempt Organizations Tax practice, appoints Yokobosky Practice Leader
(Feb 3, 2020 – New York, NY) – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, has reorganized its not-for-profit tax professionals into the new Exempt Organizations Tax Services practice, which is now part of the firm’s National Tax practice. The Exempt Organizations Tax Services practice was formed to specifically address the increasingly complex tax landscape – international, federal, and state and local – facing exempt organizations. This national practice includes CohnReznick team members from across the country, providing services to all tax-exempt organizations, including not-for-profit and education, affordable housing, healthcare, and other key industries. The Exempt Organizations Tax Services practice works collaboratively with our Affordable Housing, Healthcare, and Not-for-Profit and Education practices, which collectively provide advisory, assurance, and tax services and solutions to a broad range of tax-exempt organizations.
Effective Feb. 1, 2020, CohnReznick tax partner Lori Rothe Yokobosky assumed the role of Exempt Organization Tax Services leader, succeeding Thomas Lanning, who has retired. Lanning will serve as a consultant for the practice.
