Two CohnReznick Partners assume NYSSCPA Chairmanship roles
New York, NY – June 30, 2020 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that, earlier this month, two of its partners took over chairmanship roles for the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
- Joseph A. Arnone is the chairman of the Not-for-Profit Organizations committee. This committee is a resource to NYSSCPA members on the accounting issues affecting not-for-profit organizations and acts as liaison between the society and industry, government, and other related organizations.
- Steven D. Schwartz is the chairman of the Health Care Committee which serves as a resource to NYSSCPA members on emerging accounting, reporting, reimbursement, and tax issues for the healthcare industry.
Joseph A. Arnone, CPA, CGMA, is a partner in the Assurance Practice of CohnReznick’s New York office and a member of the Not-for-Profit and Education Industry practice. He has more than 15 years of experience serving entities in a variety of industries, including not-for-profit, healthcare, and insurance. His clients include foundations, associations, low-income housing entities, educational institutions, and other not-for-profit entities with domestic and international operations.
Steven D. Schwartz, CPA, is a partner with CohnReznick, leads the Healthcare Industry practice in the firm’s New York offices, and is also a member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit and Education Industry practice. With 22 years of experience in the healthcare field, Schwartz’s clients include Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), behavioral healthcare organizations, foster care agencies, health homes, drug treatment programs, and adult day care centers.
